I have been gping here for 16 years. Great family run. Food is so good classic!
The waitress was so nice and sweet. Food came out fast. And was very good.
Great breakfast place to take the family
Great food at a classic, nostalgic diner!
Turkey was ok, a little flimsy
Great place for breakfast or lunch. Good food and friendly service.
Best breakfast food in the world omelettes are insane
Good place to go for a quick inexpensive bite. Especially for an early breakfast.
MoreGood food at a good price.
Service was good, food came out quick and was absolutely delicious!
I had a cream chip beef breakfast which I enjoyed very much. Service was friendly and prompt with all items exactly like I ordered. It's a great place to get a comfort breakfast meal.
MoreService was okay and the food was okay. The bright side is that its not super expensive and the portions are rather large. It has a nice location with large Windows. We were seated immediately even though it was rather crowded.
MoreGood diner food. Nice people. Stools at the counter need to be immediately replaced. They're unsightly and uncomfortable. Could not get 1 coffee refill. I don't understand why? They were just mildly busy. What sort of diner doesn't automatically offer coffee refills?
MoreDecent Diner. Service ok, a little slow. Very nice, though. Nothing special on good, but standard diner breakfast.
MoreGreat omelets,. Unfortunately the "french toast" is just a butter toasted hot dog bun.
MoreBacon was cooked perfect! Loved the French toast. Very nice place to chill and enjoy breakfast. Friendly service too
MoreGreat Bethesda tradition. Love to go with the family.
Great breakfast, really nice staff. Awesome local/mom & pop vibe. Always get seated pretty quickly, especially since the bar is usually open. Would bring anybody here.
MoreGreat place for breakfast
Always tasty. Good service.
Disappointing quality. Might have been good in the past but I was really bummed when the breakfast dishes we ordered we're IHOP quality, maybe lower.
MoreThe food and the service was good.
Good breakfast
Went to meet friends. I tripped on an unmarked step and hurt my knee, and toe and elbow. Not one single employee asked if I was ok. One employee actually mopped the floor around me while I got to my feet. Other guests asked if I was ok. I was the staff just looking at me. After I got to my seat the guests that saw to me went o the manager - while I didn’t hear it - I saw she was upset and pointed at the stairs - he looked at me then turned away.We asked the server if we could see the manager. She said ok - I saw her walk over and tell him and he just stood there. After 5 minutes I went to him. All he said was someone told me you fell I didn’t see it. I know people have to be careful for fear of being sued - but an in sorry you fell are you an ok goes a long way. I limped home and cleaned the blood off my knee and iced my toe.
MoreNo oatmeal or fruit for breakfast.
The menu is extensive but the food is just average. You can probably get more for less at other chain places like IHOP, Denny's, etc. The place could use shine updating as well, as it looks like it probably did ages ago. The one great thing was the food wasn't greasy like other mom and pop diners usually are.
MoreI take my family to this place quite often! This is the best place to have a bite. I visit this spot many times. The cooking is great, the team is friendly and the cost is fair. I like meeting in this place over a tasty supper.
MoreGreat service, delicious food
Old-school friendliness, with the owner (Joe) waiting by the bar to greet you!😉We've been coming here for 15+ years and LOVE IT! The spinach feta omelette is a must! 😜
MoreGreat food and awesome service. I will be back.
It smelled like dirty dish water Inside. The food was alright
A really good old-fashioned family Diner. Food is always made to order and tastes fresh. Prices are very reasonable. They are only open for breakfast and lunch.
MoreI love this dinner. Great mom and pops serving classic short order food. And old bethesda institution among the locals.
MoreOne of the coziest diners in Bethesda. Food is good and the location is near various parking structures so that's no hassle. They close pretty early (3:30) but they're open every day of the week.
MoreGreat home cooking food. Friendly staff.
Best breakfast in Bethesda! Omelettes are amazing, staff is terrific and my personal favorite is the chicken souvlaki sandwich
MoreDelicious food, great staff!
Great start to an early Saturday. Food was good, server was nice. Came in at 6:30
MoreA little run down, and really hot
Excelent place to dine breakfast lunch and dinner all day
Nice place. Good service.
Comfortable place to have conversations and share a meal. food pretty good-probly better once i learn what to order. Service very friendly.
MoreSolid Diner food with surprisingly good Bulgogi
Old fashioned in the best sense - solid food, pleasant atmosphere - everyone seems cheerfu,l friendly, relaxed
MoreGreat food. Great atmosphere. Great staff.
Great good! Reasonable prices.
Pretty decent diner. Good food at reasonable prices. Breakfast special #2 is my go to order which is classic breakfast combo that includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, and bacon. Can't really go wrong with breakfast.Good service, sometimes I have to ask for a coffee refill when they get too busy and forget.
MoreWe absolutely love the old Georgetown grille. Best breakfast place in Bethesda as far as I'm concerned. If you're hankering for classic American diner fare this is your place. I love their omelets and home fries (they use a bit of pepper and green onions with lightly fried potatoes). If you want a more New American breakfast look elsewhere (no avo toast here), but for a solid American carb and cholesterol laden breakfast, this is your place 👍🍳🥓
MoreHere's what you will get here - large portions priced low with decent service in the center of Bethesda. Food is edible but most of it lacks that one important thing - flavor. If you do choose to eat here - stick to the very basics.
MoreSimple dinner food
